brilliant young band, touring its latest album, combining contemporary jazz and classical influences with swing, funk and groove based styles - think Bill Frisell, Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind and fire - with a dose of South American folk rhythm. In 2014, Misha won the Kenny Wheeler Jazz Prize and the Dankworth Prize for jazz composition. The band's first album received excellent reviews and the new material should be of a similar quality: ambitious, tuneful and varied.
